  • CD Release Party

Posted by Stovall on May 21, 2009

Yes, that time has finally come. The time that no one thought possible. Of course, we are referring to the debut Stovall CD “True Story”. A mixture of studio and live recordings, “True Story” chronicles the adventures of Stovall over 3 long years, 2 drummers, and one kick ass collection of Americana inspired tune-age.

Come join us at the Earl on Saturday, May 30 @ 9 and see the band rip through a set of great music. And you will finally be able to purchase a copy of “True Story”. Really. We aren’t kidding. Scouts honor.

Until then, here’s a glimpse of the album cover.

  • 2007 Christmas Show!

Posted by Stovall on December 6, 2007

Atlanta’s fave Americana/alt-country combo Stovall present their Annual Christmas Show on December 20th, at the EARL (488 Flat Shoals Avenue, East Atlanta). Doors at 8PM!

Headlining the evening is El Capitain and thee Scallywags whose sound is described as a vintage Silvertone amplifier breaking apart, the soundtrack to the best movie never made, and driving down Route 66 with the reverb on 10.

Choir-conductor-slash-rock-vocalist Jenny Hutton’s The Eyes provide power-pop to round out this fine evening of live music.

Stovall begins at 8:30! Seriously, okay, maybe 8:35 pm. How can you beat that start time and you really should go ahead and take the next day off. It’s the holidays. We promise new music, special guests and our annual holiday songs.

This year a portion of the proceeds benefit the Alcovy Pet Rescue. Give a Pet a Home for Christmas!

    Happy Holidays!
